Austin & your team....thanks for an excellent blog, but mostly thanks for organising such a superb trip. The effort you have put into this is greatly appreciated. Huge thanks also to the host parents, in our case Marcey & David, who made Kieran incredibly welcome. These guys gave the 4 boys their own rooms, laundered their kit, endless amounts of food & drink, and the run of their comfortable home. The boys even returned home with Houston Dynamo football shirts they had received as farewell gifts. Marcey & David were incredibly hospitable...lovely people. A heartfelt thank you.
We would like to thank the AMsoccer coaches and backroom staff for a well planned and executed trip to Houston. Lyall had a great time, and has only just stopped talking about it. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank his host family. Lyall and Gav were made very welcome for the duration of their stay.

In addition to Austin, Lindsay and Ross and all those at Eclipse Soccer Club, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Kim and Darrell for taking such good care of Jonathan and to thank them so much for the photographs of Jonathan in action playing football - the next best thing to being able to watch him play in person. It was so kind of you to take the photos and have them printed in time for him to bring them home with him - something we can keep and he can look back on. We hope we might be able to meet you and your daughter when you come to Scotland in the summer to say thank you in person. Last but not least, thanks Finlay for being such a good room-mate for Jonathan - we just hope he was tidier than he is at home!
